Welcome to InKind Services!

This is your opportunity to be a part of your healing.  Please feel free to look at all the services offered and email or call.

All services are confidential. Hope, encouragement, and humanity are emphasized.  We all need a helping hand sometimes.

Some of the services offered are highlighted below.

Healing Circle

Creating a safe place for healing is a restorative practice.  You can use this service with 3 people or 15 people.  I can facilitate a circle for your family,  your business, or any other group.

Reentry Resources and Guidance

Reentry into the community is a challenge,  Do you need help adapting and assimilating back into society after 10, 20, 30 years or more?  I can help with family dynamics, resources, motivation and encouragement.

Conflict Resolution

Conflict is a given, not the exception.  Many times just having an impartial party witness both sides is enough to work towards a solution  Conflict is an opportunity and also a signal that there is a need for change. I can facilitate small groups of 2 or larger groups with pre-meeting conferences or facilitate a circle to address the needs of the group to be heard and understood.

Healing Circles

Basics of the circle:

All participants sit in a circle.

Everyone agrees on the topic and the guidelines before hand.

Only one person speaks at a time which is designated by the talking piece.

A person speaks until they are finished with respect to time.

A participant is free to pass.

Confidential.

Respect, active listening, tolerance, and mindfulness are key components.

Bridge to healing and reconciliation.

The bridge as represented here, reflects the journey and the connection we all share. as humans. In order to reach a destination we have to pass from point A to point B.  Along the way we can encounter many challenges and obstacles that we can choose to see as barriers - stopping us,  or as stepping stones to help us grow and become stronger.  The choice is ours.  But there is never any shame in asking for help along the way.  All my services are trauma informed and restorative in practice.  Human kindness, diversity, empathy, mutual respect, and transformative practices are all emphasized.

My Journey

Educator and facilitator for over 23 years.  Most recently working in correctional facilities as a teacher/facilitator with Cognitive Behavioral Interventions and reentry. Trauma Informed services have been my main objective in all the work I do.  I believe in the sacredness of the healing circle space and the community it can build to promote healing. I believe in humanity first.  The mind, body, and spirit are all connected and all need to be addressed to reach wholeness.  Mindfulness and awareness are integral parts of this process. Progress, not perfection is key  on the journey we travel together.
